Would �12,000 Be enough for a six month travelling trip for 2 people?

have Flights paid for. Travelling - 2 month south america, 1 month and half Australia, 1 month and a half New Zealand, 2 weeks in fiji, 1 month and a half Bangkok. I know its not a question that has a right answer! But just taking into account hostels, food, travelling within country. Please if you cant give some kind of a helpful anwser then please don't give a reply to the question. But many thanks to those who can help, it's much appreciated :-)
