Financing a motorcycle?

Okay Well Ive had a credit card since I was 18 I always bought little stuff with ti and paid it off full always when I had my statement. Right now I am 21 years old and I plan on buying my brand new motorcycle It cost $5,600 before taxes BTW this isnt my first bike This is going to be my first Brand New motorcycle. Now I plan on buying this for my birthday present in january when bikes get a little cheaper since over the winter in NY dealerships give you great deals. Well i am going to be 22 years old. Do you think I will be able to finance the bike by my self or would I need a co-signer b/c my friend bought a bike 1 year ago when he was 18 and he needed a co signer b/c he had no credit. and he keeps telling me I will need a co-signer btw hes 19 now.
