Mixed Breeds at Pet Stores/Shelters?

Ok so at the local Pet Store the mixed breeds that are like puggles,goldendoodles,apoo,chi-weine… they are just as much as the purebread dogs,why, some of them are like $500 dollars.They aren't pure so why are the mutts so much money?
