I got myself in financial credit card dept. i owe 6 credit card companys about 61,000 what can i do.?

i was able to get all credit cards at 0 percent until march of next year.i cut my credit cards up, i dont use them anymore.my credit score is 750 , never late with payments. i can barley afford the monthly paments, but im doing it. can i claim bankrupsy, without affecting my wifes credit score. what are my options. what is the best thing to do.
