Donot have a working fireplace but i would like to use the one i have what can i use?

There are on the market today boxes that fit right into your fireplace that make it look like you have a wood burning fireplace but it is electric and has a heat blower. They cost about $299.00. Then there are kinds that you just set in and they are a lot cheaper and don't look as good.Lastly you could get a pellet stove insert and direct vent the stove out the back of your fireplace wall and heat your entire apartment for about $1500.00.
