What film had peter o' toole hiding in a hole and used a bow made from rabbit skin?

saw this film years ago, he was on the run from someone and hid down a hidey hole and used a bow and arrow made from a sharpened stick and a rabbit to shoot the guy when he looked down the hole (bit gory sorry :-( ) but its driving me nuts trying to remember what film it was.
