Trying to toilet train my 3 year old?

firstly im appalled that the nursery told you off!! there is no set time as to when a child should be potty trained by, it sounds to me like he is not ready and the best thing is to leave it until he shows interest in the potty/toilet you cant force it on him it will only make it more of an issue. How about using nappies and just sit him on the toilet every time you change him, make it a part of the routine not a big deal.
