Sounds to Fall Asleep To?

I have the same problem. At the moment I just turn on the fan over the kitchen stove -- it's close enough to where I sleep that I can hear it. I used to have one of those white noise machines. It was a little round white box, about 3" by 6", and all it did was make various levels of noise that sounded like a fan. My wife bought it. She says they are available in many places -- she even suggested an office supply store. Do some googling and you'll come up with lots of choices.
