Can I wear UGG moccasins outside?

Can I wear UGG Bella moccasins outside if i spray them down good? They have a wierd leather sole that is kind of smooth. Would it wear down really fast and get ruined? I would try not to walk in the snow with them and if I did it would only be about a half an inch to an inch. PLEASE HELP!!!
